In order to further strengthen the alumni work, care for the alumni’s development, deepen cooperation, and integrate the alumni resources, from March 8th to 9th, Tao Tao, Dean of International College(IC) of Xiamen University (XMU), Chen Xiangliu, Zhang Xiaoyun , Deputy Dean of IC, and Ai Hao, Office director of IC and Dai Yu went to Shenzhen to visit the alumni in Shenzhen.

During the visit, Dean Tao and his delegation had a discussion with Yu Peizhong, Jiang Shuangdong, Li Hong, Li Changyang and other alumni. Dean Tao introduced the development of IC in recent years, and handed over to Yu Peizhong a letter of thanks written by many Xiamen University students who have been supported by him over the years. He also expressed his heartfelt thanks to Yu Peizhong for his kindness and long-term donation to his alma mater. Dean Tao said that although IC has not been established for a long time, it has cultivated a large number of talents for the country and society. IC always cares about and supports the life and career development of the alumni, and is proud of the achievements of the alumni and wishes them a better career. At the same time, the alumni were invited to attend the alumni forum and share their successful experience with the students of IC.

The alumni introduced their work and life respectively. The alumni said that they felt very cordial to meet the teachers of IC again after graduation so many years. They talked about the good times in their student days. They are very grateful for the careful cultivation and continuous care of IC, grateful to the teachers and students they met at IC, and grateful to the teachers of IC for their help and guidance. Inspired by the motto of the Xiamen University "Pursue Excellence and Strive for Perfection", they will continue to gather the strength of the alumni, and continue to care and support the development and construction of IC and XMU with practical actions. In addition, they also had in-depth exchanges on the preparation of the Shenzhen Branch of the Alumni Association, the holding of the alumni Forum, and the preparation for the 20th anniversary of IC.

1.Yu Peizhong

Yu Peizhong, who entered the International College of XMU in 2006 and then entered Middlesex University in the UK for his undergraduate study. He also graduated from Guanghua School of Management, Peking University with an EMBA degree. Now he serves as chairman of Fujian Jiuzhou Star Industrial Co., Ltd., in Fujian Province, Chairman of Guangdong Jiuzhou Star Holding Co. LTD, Chairman of Guangdong Harbour Engineering Co., LTD.  And a member of the 20th Committee of All-China Youth Federation.

Li Hong entered in International College in 2006, and then she graduated from Middlesex University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Human Resource Management. She successively worked in the human resources department of Bank of China (Hong Kong) and Shenzhen Tiandi Group Co., LTD. (Group headquarters). Currently, she serves as the Executive Director of Shenzhen Jikesen Operation Management Co., LTD.

Shenzhen Jikesen Operation Management Co., Ltd. was founded in 2018, is a chain enterprise group of amusement business, focusing on creating high-quality indoor amusement interactive space, headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province.
